Partial model matching: Parametrization of solutions
نویسندگان
چکیده
Given a linear plant and a linear model, the partial model matching consists of designing a stabilizing compensator so as to match several first Markov parameters of the model. Using a recently established solvability condition, all such compensators are parametrized. The degrees of freedom can then be used to optimize the system performance. 0 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.

On Riccati equations, orthogonal polynomials and fast filtering algorithm
In this note we cast parametrization of certain type of covariance extension problems in polynomial model. We show that the Kimura form of state space realization for maximum entropy solution to Carathéodory’s extension problem is Riccati balanced parametrization. As an application we provide a heuristic algorithm for finding solutions to minimum-phase spectral factor with poles and zeros, give...
متن کاملNew explicit and Soliton Wave Solutions of Some Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations with Infinite Series Method
To start with, having employed transformation wave, some nonlinear partial differential equations have been converted into an ODE. Then, using the infinite series method for equations with similar linear part, the researchers have earned the exact soliton solutions of the selected equations. It is required to state that the infinite series method is a well-organized method for obtaining exact s...
متن کاملProblems and solutions for noisy speech recognition
Automatic speech recognition has reached high level performances but it usually fails in coping with real-life, noisy environments. An essential reason is the mismatch between the conditions in which a system is trained and used. A large number of solutions have been proposed in order to solve this problem. Those solutions can be classified into two main, non exclusive categories. Firstly, sign...
متن کاملA Novel Assisted History Matching Workflow and its Application in a Full Field Reservoir Simulation Model
The significant increase in using reservoir simulation models poses significant challenges in the design and calibration of models. Moreover, conventional model calibration, history matching, is usually performed using a trial and error process of adjusting model parameters until a satisfactory match is obtained. In addition, history matching is an inverse problem, and hence it may have non-uni...
متن کاملApplication of the tan(phi/2)-expansion method for solving some partial differential equations
In this paper, the improved -expansion method is proposed to solve the Kundu–Eckhaus equation and Gerdjikov–Ivanov model. The applied method are analytical methods to obtaining the exact solutions of nonlinear equations. Here, the aforementioned methods are used for constructing the soliton, periodic, rational, singular and solitary wave solutions for solving some equations. We obtained furthe...
